Cognex automatic vision systems inspect your products as they are being manufactured, to identify parts, check for defects, gauge dimensions and guide robotic equipment. Images of each part are analysed to detect faults, accurately locate features and to check for missing components. The information can then be sent to other equipment in the production line to automatically reject the part or to control assembly and robotic systems.

Our In-Sight products are our fastest growing product range, these “stand alone” vision systems are very easy to use. They can be used individually, or can be networked together to inspect products at every manufacturing stage and on every production line. Ideal for almost every application.
Our DVT Sensors are a family of versatile robust and easy to use vision sensors for product inspection, quality control and automation of your production environment. Ideal for price sensitive, straight forward applications where a high level of performance is required at a low cost.
The VisionPro products are “PC based” solutions designed for more experienced users. VisionPro systems are typically used for complex applications where maximum flexibility is required in the type and number of cameras, in the image processing techniques being used and in the interface to the operator.
Our ID products are specially designed for reading matrix codes (2D) and bar codes (1D) in typical manufacturing environments and applications. These products are used to identify and track parts before, during and after manufacture. Frequently these parts will have been “Direct Part Marked” with a 2D code that has been created by laser marking, chemical etch, dot peen or ink-jet printing
Our Checker products are the totally integrated, ultra high-speed feature inspection systems. Checker is a great tool for solving many manufacturing problems that previously were difficult or impossible to solve with single photo sensors, multiple photo sensors or other similar devices.
Checker’s compact design provides illumination, optics, sensor, processor, memory and I/O, all fully integrated in a single industrial- grade package about the size of a mobile phone. Checker is so simple to use that even first time users will have it up and running in a matter of minutes

In addition to all the inspection capabilities of the Checker 232, the 252 model adds new sensors to verify height, width and diameter, making pass/fail measurement verification simple and reliable. Key to the simplicity of the Checker 252 is its One-Click Setup™. By simply clicking on the center of the part feature to be inspected, an image of a familiar caliper appears and locks on the edges of the part feature, sets the minimum and maximum thresholds, and learns edge polarity…all automatically.
