Since the company was founded in 1946, David+Baader has been involved in electrical heating systems and now ranks among the world's leading manufacturers of electrical heating elements and appliances. As far as creative electrical heating concepts are concerned, innovative ideas and state-of-the-art technologies have enabled DBK to forge ahead of the competition.
In the home, DBK's patented solutions prevent milk boiling over and ensure that the washing is tumble-dried properly. They make sure that, when you drive to work, the car starts reliably when the temperature drops below zero and that the windscreen stays clear of mist. They also ensure that paint and lacquer dries evenly in industrial drying cabinets.
DBK solutions create security and comfort, as well as helping to save energy. DBK invests large sums of money in research and development every year. As a result of these and the company's flexibility, state-of-the-art technology, commitment and a feeling for the needs of the market, DBK has been able to move out of the ranks of the heater manufacturers and become an international system supplier and an innovation partner for various industrial concerns.
 | Air heater Build-in systems or docking systems:
During short cold periods the air heateris an ideal supplement to inert heating systems..
Applications:
Industrial buildings, storage areas, sales and exhibition areas, sports and riding stadiums, etc.
| | Alternative fuels Our autarkic systems were designed for alternative fuels such as vegetable oil and biodiesel.
Depending on the size and positioning of the fuel filter, our autarkic heating systems are switched before the filter.
Mounted directly in the fuel line or on the filter, these autarkic preheating systems can also be used as a retrofit solution.
The heat output depends on the flow rate and fuel temperature.
The autarkic preheating system can be designed as three different variants:
without control
with thermostat
with NTC | | Blowby preheating Crankcase gas, also known as blowby gas, is generated by leakage gas flows between the piston, piston rings and cylinder bearing surfaces. In the blowby gas, along with oil, other combustion residues such as fuel rests and water residue can be found.
Icing occurs due to temperature deviancies among others in the following areas:
inlet manifold in the induction tract
pressure and flow regulation valve
throttle valves
oil separator
blowby gas lead lines
As a solution for the problem described above, blowby heaters from DBK were designed. They are customized to meet specific needs and do justice to the various use conditions and installation ratios.
In particular the chemical properties of the blowby gas, which has a low ignition point due to enrichment with residual fuel, have to be taken into consideration. The heating systems developed by DBK are based on PTC technology and on the separation of the heating system from the aggressive blowby gas
| | Heating of tumble dryer DBK has more than fifteen years of experience with heating systems for tumble driers. In line with the wishes of our clients we develop customised allround solutions including casing and sensors.
| | Heating systems Different types of heating systems are installed, independent of whether the furnace or oven is designed as chamber or, e.g. through-type furnace, with or without solvent evaporator. In general, the most commonly considered heating is ELECTRICAL HEATING, as this makes the least demands on the existing electrical installations in the building. A simple electrical connection suffices – and you can start.
The heating elements for our electrical furnace are manufactured in-house. This means that heating capacity, rated voltage, surface load and other parameters can be designed as needed. This ensures optimum adjustment of the heaters to the application case. Direct control of manufacturing quality and production planning allow very quick response to customer wishes. In general we use the same quality for low temperatures and for applications up to 650°C. | | High temperature furnaces Through-type furnace up to 700 °C Many processes require a higher working temperature. Our furnaces with an operating temperature of up to 700°C are designed for these extreme demands.
With manual production processes the furnaces with very high operating temperatures are simply loaded with fork lift trucks. The support forks drive under the furnace while the lifting forks can manipulate the batch in the furnace. | | High temperature furnaces. High temperature furnaces. | | Igniter pellets The electrical pellet ignition units heat up the air inside the burning chamber to a high temperature so that the pellets or wooden chips can ingnite within a short time. | |
